By accessing or using FundRadar at velocityalts.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
FundRadar by Velocity Alternative Research provides access to a curated database of hedge fund and private fund launches compiled from publicly available regulatory filings. The Service is provided for informational and business intelligence purposes only.
3. Not Investment Advice
All information provided through the Service is sourced from publicly available regulatory filings and is for informational purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or an offer or solicitation to invest in any fund or vehicle. You should consult a qualified financial professional before making any investment decisions.
4. Data Accuracy
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of data presented, we do not warrant that the information is complete, accurate, current, or free from errors. Data is sourced from public regulatory filings as submitted by the reporting entities; we are not responsible for errors or omissions in the underlying source data.
5. Subscriptions and Payment
Access to the full Service requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Payment is processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; access continues through the end of the billing period.
- Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after 14 days from purchase.
- We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to subscribers.
6. Permitted Use
You may use the Service for your own internal business intelligence purposes. You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute data from the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download data without written permission
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Represent the data as your own proprietary research
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, its design, and any proprietary compilation, enrichment, or presentation of data are owned by Velocity Alternative Research. Underlying SEC filing data is in the public domain. Our data enrichment, matching logic, and platform presentation are proprietary.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. If we terminate your account without cause, we will provide a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your subscription.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velocity Alternative Research shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on the data provided. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
